Song Is Popular Among Teens - 988 Words

In part one of questions, the reason why I think the song is so popular among teens is due to Miley Cyrus rebel attitude and deliberately goes against the norm of societies values and morals that expected for young ladies to behave and act with class. However, I believe Miley Cyrus goes to the extremes to express her femininity the way she feels appropriate to get attention and become popular with her fans that are easily influenced by sexuality agendas by young teenagers hormonal changes during this mental and physical changes in their lives. Miley Cyrus reminds me of Madonna actions with her lyric and album â€Å"Like a Virgin† back in the 1980’s. Madonna’s actions set her apart from other music artist and caused society to relook how young adolescence males and females were acting out in the response to a young female that was sexy, talented and has the spirit of free will to do things against the norm in the music business and society. I feel these two-female music artists now and then feed off young adolescence psychological emotions to promote their music and make money. Secondly, the important concerns that the song expresses for adolescents is how Miley Cyrus expresses her sexuality and defies the norms of society. Miley Cyrus explicitly uses sex as an undertone to promote and portray messages to her targeted audiences.
